Hi. I’m Jerry Brito, executive director of Coin Center.

I’ve been working on crypto policy in Washington since 2011, when I wrote the first article about Bitcoin in mainstream media. I testified at the first congressional hearing on crypto in 2013, and in 2014 I founded Coin Center to fight for individuals’ rights to build and use crypto technology and to do so privately.

This is my personal newsletter where I write commentary on crypto, law, policy, and the general view from Washington. It’s free and I aim to post weekly.
